« Today's Feature: My Friend Karen's Knitting | Main | Sometimes Horrible Things Happen »

July 17, 2005

I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a couple of weeks ago at our local Imax, and I loved it. Depp gives a weird performance, and he does look like Jacko.

K. Anne

All of that waiting in line for the HP book! I went to Wal-Mart on Sunday (days after it was out) and they had a folding table set up with over 50 of the books sitting on it for $16-something. I guess they didn't have a huge run on it as they have in other years to have so many sitting there.

My oldest DD & nephews want to go and see Charlie. It is going to be quite different from both the book & the original movie.

Karen Wiseman

Naomi was so excited about getting her Harry Potter book that after arriving home from Europe on Friday, at 11:30 PM, she and Dave rushed to Barnes and Noble at midnight to attend the festivities!! How is the hem coming along?? Karen

I can't wait to read the book, I haven't read a book that wasn't craft related in ages. Off to go buy it. Can't wait to see Charlie either, but it is scary to see the resemblance between him and MJ. hahaha

This thirty-something chick picked Harry too. Although I'm fond of Johnny, the Jacko resemblance is creepy enough that I might wait for the DVD.

BTW, she's right, it IS that good.

The 18yo Harry Potter Obsessor

"Geez... it might be good, but it is not THAT good!"

Oh, but you are quite mistaken, it IS that good... :-)
